Cory Ford graduated from the College of William and Mary in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and a minor in Economics. From there he went on to attend law school at George Mason University School of Law in Arlington, Virginia, where he earned the degree of Juris Doctor after graduating in 2004. During law school Mr. Ford received several honors, including winning Best Oralist in the Upper Class Moot Court Competition, becoming an Associate Editor on the law school’s Federal Circuit Bar Journal, and interning for Magistrate Judge Alan Kay in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. Before coming to work for Barbara S. Williams, Mr. Ford served as an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney for the County of Westmoreland, Virginia. Mr. Ford is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts (Eastern and Western Divisions) of Virginia.
