Wrongful Death:

  • Injuries Sustained From Drunk Drivers
Drunk drivers that cause accidents deserve a lot more that just points on their licenses or a few days in jail. A drunk driver that causes a serious injury or death should be held responsible for financial losses that their victims suffer. Barbara S. Williams is an experienced attorney that has built her career on helping the injured receive fair and just compensation.

Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI):

  • Brain Injury Services Greenway Charity Event [PDF]
We held our Greenway Charity Event "Open House" Yesterday. As many of you know, we are trying to position BIS to become a major recipient of funds from this annual event. The Greenway Manager actually spent quite a bit of time at the Loudoun Office with us so we have "high hopes" for our chances to be part of this. They have already donated "passes" in the amount of $2,000 to cover our case managers expenses going out there. Our case manager, Chris Swenson is responsible for getting the ball rolling on this.
Barbara donated her car to drive up and down the greenway with our logo and wearing "brain helmets". She set up the open house and donated all the food as well as spent countless hours organizing all of this. SHE IS AMAZING!!!
Please look at the attached picture of Chris and Barbara coming back from the Greenway to the Loudoun Office.

  • Kit Callahan's story [PDF]
On November 8, 2006, our law firm hosted a luncheon for the Speakers Bureau of Brain Injury Services. At the luncheon, four speakers shared their stories about surviving a brain injury.
  • Mahlon Frankhauser's story [PDF]
My name is Mahlon Frankhauser and the name of my talk is “Never give up ~ persevere!” I was a securities attorney for 40 years and during that time worked for the SEC and The New York Stock Exchange. For the last 28 years I had been a partner of a large International nationwide law firm from which I am now retired due to my injury and inability to practice law.

  • Hospital Infections: Deadly Serious
A new study claims that hospital related infections are causing an estimated 100,000 deaths a year. The fix would be fairly easy, and comparatively cheap. But what are the HMO's and Hospital Chains doing about it?

    Nothing.
